   Hi,

   just downloaded the excerpt plugin and I think there is a little bug in it.

   I was testing a couple of posts with the plugin and some only had one or two words in the content (some also had a single word and an image).

   The plugin inserted the ..read more link after the word with the image and on the post with only a single word it only displayed the ..read more link and the word only appeared after I clicked on the link. On the post with two words in it (Test Post)it broke after the word Test and displayed the words Test Post after clicking on the ..read more link.

   In the setup I set the word limit for the excerpt at 150, which seems to work fine with the longer posts.

   I just noticed that the excerpt plugin seems to add the ..read more link no matter how many words are in the post.

   I changed the settings for # of words and if that number exceeds the actual number of words in the post the ..read more link always appears even when all text displays.

   I also noticed that when I add the <img> tag to the list of allowable HTML tags then it does appear with the one word that preceeded it but again the ..read more is still displayed even though there is nothing more to display.

   Am I doing something wrong here?

   BTW I am using WP version 2.7

   Cheers for pointing this out, I've sorted it now so that the 'read more' text only displays when the Post length is less than the excerpt length.

   Works well now. Great plugin.
