WordPress PHPList Dual Registration Plugin

The WordPress PHPList Dual Registration Plugin puts a small checkbox on your WordPress registration page allowing new users to subscribe to your chosen newsletter from PHPList.

Recently I set up and launched a newsletter system on SeanBluestone.com using PHPList. Since I already have a number of people signing up for this site every day I wanted to add a checkbox to my WordPress registration page to allow them to simultaneously sign up for my newsletter.

You can download WordPress PHPList Dual Registration here. You can also check it out a demo of it in action on my registration page.

This is great because it’s optional, while checked at first, and if it turns out they don’t enjoy the newsletters they can unsubscribe at any time. I adapted this script from Jesse Heaps PHPList Comment Subscriber plugin which does the same thing with comments and may be useful to you.

Doesn’t work with my website either. There seems to be no support for this plugin :-(

It’s a pity because it’s a really great idea!

Great plugin. It’s a little bit weird how the list ID has to be a number only, but the name attribute is supposed to say attribute1 (word + number). They should probably both be just the number for consistency.

Also, I have PHPList set up with separate fields for first & last name and Wordpress also has separate fields, but the plugin recognizes only one field as “full name”.

Thanks!

Please advise. Tnx!

It’s so frustrating that I can’t get this to work.
The user registration goes ahead fine, but nothing happens on the PHPList side.
Does anyone have an alternative solution?

where can we get support on this?

Looks good, pity there is no functionality with 2.7 and up. Running 2.8.2 and get NO integration.

Looks like there is no recent support on it either.

Hey I fixed the plugin, now it works perfectly in the reg page.
If the author is around I can send it to him and he can update it.
Otherwise I guess Ill just upload it on my own.
